An extremely large, long-track, and violent tornado struck the city of Dodge Center, Minnesota on the early morning hours of March 4, 2030. This tornado would travel for nearly 60 miles across southeastern Minnesota and be on the ground for nearly an hour. As of recent surveys, 12 people have been confirmed dead and over 85 have been injured.

Preliminary surveys from the National Weather Service (NWS) in La Crosse, Wisconsin have revealed that this tornado was capable of EF4+ damage in the city of Dodge Center. Recent reports have extreme ground scouring, and some slabbed well-built structures within the city. A storm chaser reported extreme structural damage on the south side of Dodge Center the same night the tornado struck.

Surveys will continue for the next few days on this tornado, and we will have an official rating soon. However, the death and injury tolls are still being calculated as the southern half of the city was nearly unrecognizable to residents and emergency personal.

Due to extreme damage, the NWS in La Crosse has posted that they are considering a rating upgrade for this tornado.
